A conventional high school romance/drama/coming-out story. It's an issue book & I'm not really an intended reader so what I felt doesn't really count. The bullying & domestic abuse is pretty horrifying & almost all characters, including the protagonists & excluding less than a handful of supporting characters, are sort of mean. I wish these sort of bullying & domestic abuse would not happen in real life as often as in these YA fictions.
